Some members of the Northwest Military Officers Association, an affiliate of the National Military Officers Association, were given a briefing and tour of the 33rd Fighter Wing, Air Education and Training Command, Eglin AFB, FL on Friday, August 19, 2011. These former pilots of our military were ready to get back in the seat of this futuristic jet fighter. The 33rd Fighter Wing serves as the home to the Joint Strike Fighter Integrated Training Center and provides pilot and maintenance training for the Navy, Marine, and Air Force, and approximately nine international partners.

Fisher House of the Emerald Coast is located on Eglin Air Force Base in Northwest Florida and provides a "home away from home"so that our military families can be together during treatment for serious illness or physical/occupational therapy. The House is within steps of the Eglin Air Force Base Hospital and Veteran's Clinic and recently held its ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony.
